Training with Pati Pavlik

March of 2008 saw one of the most anticipated events in my permanent makeup career realized. I made my way to the town of Tehachapi, California, to spend three days in one-on-one advanced training with Pati Pavlik at her Permanent Eyes studio there. A quick web search will show that Pati is widely acknowledged as the "Mother of Permanent Makeup" for her contribution to mainstreaming the use of cosmetic tattooing in America starting in the late 1970's. I was thrilled to soak in her knowledge, experience, technique and wisdom and look forward to putting what I learned to use in my work immediately. Thanks, Pati, for a great training experience!
